To give some context, I generally don't like shaved ice. My mental image is a pile of ice with some sugar water dumped on it, where the sugar just sinks to the bottom and you're left chewing on plain ice for the second half. That was exactly what I expected walking into Pau Hana on a hot day with my wife's college friend and my kid. I ordered the halo halo mix expecting to tap out halfway through. The thing is HUGE. I finished the whole thing, no problem, and it was genuinely delicious. They've got a nice Hawaiian vibe going, Ohana means family on the wall, a couch inside to hang out on. My daughter parked herself there and lost one of her rubber duckies behind it, so that couch owes us a duck at this point. Would 100% recommend.

Best shaved ice in Bay Area. Amazing flavors, natural and good quality. Amazing staff, clean place and must visit in the summer.

Probably the best place to get shave ice in the Bay- the ice is so incredibly soft, you can't even feel the crystals. While you can definitely share one, I like to eat it all by myself most of the time. Highly recommend adding mochi it is so soft and chewy and not too sweet Price is very fair for the amount you get

Authentic Hawaiian shave ice! Ultra fine shave ice, sweet syrupy flavors, sno cap (condensed milk) mochi, ice cream. I recommend their large size, which includes two flavors. Be bold and add the sno cap, and haupia ice cream! They also feature some fancy specials like their strawberry shortcake: ice cream and strawberries!

Wonderful place in JTOWN for an ice cold treat! Everything is really delicious but today we had Halo Halo and a custom, “build your own” shaved ice which turned out really good. The Halo Halo had a little twist with fruity pebbles instead of pinipig and was still as traditional as it can be along with a huge scoop of ube ice cream and leche flan. We wanted to purchase some shirts but for me, they were a tad overpriced. If they were lowered down to $22 or $25, maybe offer a deal for 2 or more it would’ve been more reasonable as I wanted to purchase a couple. The service was excellent, easy ordering and a short wait for your treat as it is being made. Swing by and try their Dole Whip and Mangonada too!
